How it works

How it works

The combination helps to soften coarse strands, strengthen fine ones, and leave hair looking thicker, glossier and more manageable.

  • Batana Oil – A rich source of oleic acid and tocopherols, this single-origin oil from Honduras helps reinforce hair fibres, seal in moisture and visibly improve thickness over time
  • Botanical Oils: Avocado, Jojoba, Olive & Sweet Almond – Restore lipid balance and hydration to support elasticity and smoother strands
  • Guar Derivative + Grape Seed Oil – Aid detangling, reduce static and support a lightweight, full-bodied feel
  • Cetearyl Alcohol & Dimethicone Derivatives – Condition and protect without stripping natural oils
  • Chrysanthemum, Sappanwood & Olive Extracts – Provide antioxidant benefits to calm and protect the scalp

Preclinical2008

In lab tests on chemically straightened hair, jojoba oil and silicone conditioning agents reduced protein loss and improved resistance to breakage.

Laboratory study on Afro-ethnic hair locks processed with a thioglycolate straightener; adding conditioning agents reduced protein loss and improved breakage resistance, with jojoba oil among the best performers. Hair-tress study, not a trial in people.

Preclinical2011

In lab tests on hair, guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride improved deposition of conditioning oils and dimethicone onto hair.

Laboratory comparison of cationic conditioning polymers on virgin hair, measuring oil deposition, combing energy and friction; guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride gave superior deposition of natural oils and dimethicone. Hair-sample study, not a trial in people.

Preclinical2003

In lab image analysis of hair tresses, amodimethicone-type silicones increased the measured shine (luster) of hair.

Laboratory study using image analysis of light reflected from hair tresses; cosmetic oils including amodimethicone raised luster indices. Hair-tress study only.
